Hi I'm Owen Irvin from Bald Eagle Area High School in Wingate, Pa. My future goals are to graduate high school and go to college pursuing a degree in physical therapy or athletic training, while playing football. For me, football has always been my #1 sport. I have been playing football for 12 years since I was 5 and I believe I benefit from this on the field because I have a feel for the game that many other players don't have. Other aspects of my game that I believe set me apart from the competition would be my speed /movement, ball skills, and ability to understand what I need to do to beat whoever is lining up against me. As a 6'1 wideout and cornerback, I move very well and believe I am always the fastest kid on the field. My understanding for the game as well as playing both cornerback and wide receiver allows me to know what I need to do in order to win my matchup. My ball skills show that every time the ball is in the air I am looking to make a play on it and I can play the ball multiple ways.
