Ever since I can remember, I have always had a ball in my hands. My parents told me that my first word was "ball". Ever since I began playing flag football in the first grade, I couldn't wait to play at the next level, from elementary school tackle, to junior high, and high school. As the level of competition increased through each phase of my football career, so has my drive to get better and improve every aspect of my game to compete at a high level. Football for me is the ultimate team sport where regardless of athletic talent and strength each athlete must rely on his teammates and coaching staff for success. Although much of my success as a high school quarterback has resulted from a great coaching staff, a great offensive line, a great running game, and a great group of wide receivers, ultimately a large portion of my success has resulted from the family-like bonds and friendships I have developed over the years with my coaches and teammates. My dream after my final high school season is to continue developing strong family-like bonds and friendships with my teammates and coaches and to continue improving my game at the college football level.
