Josh Cobbs '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Josh Cobbs, I’m a Senior and a starting Inside Linebacker at Ben Lippen School.  I am 5’9’’and 175 lbs.  I can also play Corner Back and Running Back.  This season, I have 79 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, 2 fumble recovery and 1 touchdown.  According to MaxPrep, I am ranked in the top 10 for tackles in my region within the state of South Carolina.   As a multi-sport athlete (Football, Baseball, and Track), I am dedicated in the weight room, cross-training with other improvement agility drills, and running to continue to make myself better.  Outside of athletics, I am an honor student, and plays base and Violin in the school's Bluegrass Strings Band.   I am determined on giving my best on and off the field.  Being the son of a military officer, I am disciplined, respectful and hardworking.  I understand the value of teamwork, I am mentally tough, coachable, dedicated, and a Christian.  It’s my goal to excel in college and pursue a career where I can ultimately help others.
