Hello, my name is Ben Henson. I am a Senior wide receiver at James F. Byrnes High School, in Duncan, SC. I am excited about the possibility to play football on the next level.
To play the game that I love, would be the fulfillment of a lifelong dream. My collegiate goals are to play for a competitive program and contribute to the success of the program. My desire is to be the best at my position through hard work and determination. Once my college career is over, I would love to play the game I love in the NFL, but if that's not possible, I want to have a career in Education and Coaching.
I believe what makes a good candidate for any team are I am a team player, I am coachable, I work hard, and I am dedicated to being the best player that I can be.
I am different from every other recruit because of the values that my parents have instilled in me. I try to treat everybody right and do what's right. Athletically, I believe my strength is catching the ball away from my body, tracking the ball and making adjustments to the ball, I also feel that my strengths are my route running, speed and quickness. Academically, I know and understand my strengths and weaknesses, and I am not afraid to ask for help.
