Playing in one of the most competitive regions in the country is a blessing. Teams in this region (Spartanburg High, James F Byrnes, Dorman, Gaffney, etc), are often ranked as top teams in the country and the players on each team know the talents on the other team. This pushes us all to maximum potential as we battle it out on the field each year. Each team not only brings competition against each other but because of the strength in both sports and academics at these schools, there is also fierce, but respectful, competition in positions at each school. Nothing is given to you; it must be earned! Playing hard on Fridays to get a chance at Saturdays! Training=every day!!
