As I look ahead with excitement and anticipation to what my future high school and college years will bring, I have to look back at my decision to transfer to Greenville Sr. High as one of the more important decisions I have made in my life so far. I grew up in the same small private school since I was two years old through my freshman year of high school. We had great academics and great sports and I also had friends that I had known since I was very young. With all that in place, I approached my parents and let them know I wanted to transfer. It was a very tough decision to leave something I had known since I was a young boy but I had a dream of doing something really BIG. I wanted to see what I could do when competing against some of the biggest and best competition in our state. After looking at a few different schools I made the decision to move to Greenville Sr. High. During this transition, I realized the positive impact that hard work, determination and character can have on my future and the people around me. While these may sound like simple lessons, when I applied each one to the personal and team goals I had for this season, it helped me and my team accomplish some great things. It also helped us build a great foundation for the future. The successes from this past year have given me the drive to improve and become the best player, teammate and student I can become.
