Sophomore Year 20...Personal Statement
My name is Chandler McCall and I am a student athlete of the Class of 2022 at North Myrtle Beach High School in Little River SC . I am a member of the NMBHS Varsity Football Team Class 4A, 2020 South Carolina All-State DB, 2020 All Conference 1st Team Defense, 2020 All- County Defensive Team, and 4AAAA Region 6 All Region 2nd team DB. Currently, I am rated the #4 DB in the SC of South Carolina. I have a 4.57 40 Yard Dash (verified), 127” Broad Jump (verified) and a 38" Vertical Jump (verified), pro agility 4.2 (verified). I love the game, the competition, the accomplishments and life experiences I have gained by playing sports
I am a well-rounded student athlete with a GPA of 3.9 on a 4.0 scale and a 5.025 weighted GPA. I am currently 7th out of 407 students. I understand that my hard work and dedication in the classroom and on the field will influence my future goals. I am looking forward to continuing my leadership skills. I will continue to work hard on and off the field, in the class room and in the weight room. My goal is to play college football and pursue a degree in Engineering.
Although my academics are important to me, I am very interested in continuing my passion for football at the next level. My father was a team captain and a Tight End for Virginia Tech. My mother was member of the Women’s Swim Team for Virginia Tech. My oldest sister is an All-American Bowler for Tulane University and my middle sister is a Pole Vaulter for Virginia Tech. I have been brought up to love watching college sports and want to earn my place at a collegiate football program.
