I am a rising junior at Spartanburg High School, where I have a 4.98 GPA. I take honors and AP level courses, which is why I have a GPA over 4.0. I would like to attend a college where I can continue to learn in the classroom, as well as get better on the field. I train almost every day to better myself as a kicker, at school and on my own. I work with a kicking coach to improve my form and technique. In addition, I am the starting striker on my club soccer team and have played on the Varsity Soccer team at my school for two years. As a Freshman I played goalkeeper and as a Sophomore I was the top scorer as the striker.
I want to use football as an opportunity to get an education that will serve me throughout my life. I plan to major in chemistry and work towards a degree in medicine. My long-term goal is to specialize in infectious diseases. Lessons learned on the field will carry over into the classroom and the workplace. My commitment to improving my football skills and dedication to earning strong grades will make me an asset to my team and to my classmates and co-workers.
