Since an early age, I began kicking a soccer ball and on various club teams in Montana and later in South Dakota for the South Dakota Alliance soccer club. My Football exposure began in Montana while playing in the 'Small-Fry' league prior to High School. After moving to South Dakota (2020), I focused on playing football. Although I was encouraged to play the line, I suffered a hand injury and couldn't play in a contact position. This turned out to be a blessing as I was given the chance to fill the position as our team's kicker. As a Sophomore, I focused on Kicking and Punting and after my recovery of my hand injury, I also played on the Defensive and Offensive line.
My offseason training during the Winter included kicking at home in our shop and at the Sanford Field House before school during the week. When the weather was more favorable I would practice at the local turf and grass high school football fields. In the Spring (2023) I traveled to Iowa to work with the Kohl's Kicking Academy coach. During this same time, I attended the Kohl's Rating Camp in Dallas and earned an invitation to Kohl's National Scholarship Camp (July 2023) in Tennessee when I attained a 4/5 Star rating as a Kicker and a 3.5/5 Star rating as a Punter.
Our high school football season was positive as we made it to the 2nd Round of Playoffs in Class 11B. Although the season is behind me, I remain focused on my future. I am open to what the future has in store for me. I've wanted to become a Pilot after taking some flight lessons during high school. I am a hands on learner, enjoy adventure and travel, outdoor activities, and always try to make the most of my situation.
I describe myself as a competent, consistent, committed, and coachable player. My Christian faith, family, and friends are important to me and view them as an important part of my next steps forward.
