Christian Merchant '21 Recruiting Profile

I would like to attend a 4-year college for either Business or Medical, and at the same time I would like to continue to play football. I truly believe that I am a hard-working individual who is ready to put in whatever hours it takes to be successful in the game of football. As a junior in my last football season I was able to lead our team and make important call outs on the field under pressure and I enjoyed every moment of it. I knew most plays for our middle linebackers and our entire defensive line, just to ensure they were doing their job correctly. We have meetings with our coaches after every season and all of them said to me, "we never have to worry about you, you are always doing what has to be done without us having to tell you". That felt good to hear and impacts me to only work harder.
