Dillon Horne '26 Recruiting Profile

Coaches,

My name is Dillon Horne and I am born and raised in Cedar Park, TX.  My goals for college are simple.  Regardless of my ability to to go all the way in my athletic endeavors, I will be working hard to obtain a four year degree in Exercise Science.  I have dreams to eventually be a strength coach in the NFL.  My ultimate desire is to play in the NFL, possibly as a long snapper, but as my Dad tells me, you always need a secondary plan and that is where the strength profession comes in for me.

I have a strong faith in Jesus Christ and it guides my in all I do and how I treat people.  I try every day to be the hands and feet of Jesus by loving others and meeting them where they are at.  I believe in hard work and dedication in all I do and I bring this to the field and court.  I want my teammates to know there is nothing I won't do to make sure I am prepared and ready to be part of the team, especially someone they can rely on to protect and help them on and off the field.  I am a believer that it all starts in the weight room, and it's my responsibility to be in the best physical condition I can in order to perfect my craft.  I am a better than average student, but need to work hard, stay focused and be diligent when it comes to the classroom.  I know I am only one injury away from never playing the game again, so I have to keep my mind sharp.
