Garrett Mathers '20 Recruiting Profile

Going through a tough and nasty car accident halfway through my sophomore year has molded me into the man that I have always wanted to be. Breaking 5 of my bones, including my femur, I was devastated. Everybody told me how my playing days were over and how I had produced a good run. I on the other hand was not satisfied with these comments that people had for me. I was going to prove them wrong. This is what I did, proved them wrong. I returned to sports after a grueling offseason filled with doubt from others and the constant pain provided from my injuries. Rushing for over 1000 yards and having over 50 tackles on the season.
