Braxton Baker '23 Recruiting Profile

At the core of who I am is a relentless learner, listener, and student of life. My family has installed within me a passionate desire to pursue excellence for God's glory not mine. I certainly love to compete and win, but I understand that life is about more than just football. My love for God enables me to value my teammates, my coaches, and my pursuits correctly. 

I hope to play this sport for as long as the opportunity allows, but I also want to be molded into the best man possible so I can rightly impact the community around me. This means that I want to get my degree as a foundation. I have been disciplined in my HS academics, my personal life, my service in the community, and my development as a QB. I have seen my abilities increase in direct relation to the investment I make to invest and focus, but I know there is a lot more to learn. I am hungry for that privilege. 

Finally, I recognize that my team will often look to me to lead the charge on the field and sideline as we execute the offensive scheme, but my hope is that I will earn the right to build meaningful relationships off the field as well.
