Christian Ashby '24 Recruiting Profile

I'm driven to succeed.  I work out and train everyday.  I work long hours on my family's ranch in West Texas. I study hard as an honors student and maintain an "A" average. I'm committed to showing respect and earning respect both on and off the field.  I love football and powerlifting. I went to state in powerlifting my Freshman and Sophomore year, Freshman year I finished 10th and my Sophomore year I finished 1st in my region and 8th in the state of Texas and I do not see myself stopping during my high school career. I was also the only student from my school to make it to the State finals.

I love football and my goal is to play for a premiere division 1 university.  Ultimately I want to be drafted in to the NFL.  This is my dream and I work hard to achieve it every single day.  I am my team's captain and lead our varsity squad.  I work hard to develop leadership qualities both on and off the field.  I'm committed to the success of my team and am a solid asset, counseling and encouraging my team on the practice field, in the locker room, on the sidelines and in the trenches during game time.  I'm training now to lead my varsity squad next year as the biggest, baddest and fastest lineman that my school has ever had.  I'm also blessed to be the unanimous all-district lineman of the year and I'm looking forward to maintaining that title in my senior year.
