I have loved football ever since I was 5 years old, and my family got season tickets to Oregon State football games. Since then, for five or six Saturdays every fall, “Game Day” has been a family holiday as important as Christmas and with as much food as Thanksgiving. Growing up in a sports-minded family, I understand that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life and I have aspired to play football at the collegiate level for as long as I can remember.
I appreciate football and more specifically playing on the line because every man on the flied is working together to accomplish a single goal. Unlike individual sports, there are no personal accolades if we don’t succeed as a team. To ensure that I am worthy of my teammate and coaches’ trust, I work hard year-round on my skills, participating in conditioning, speed and agility training, and lifting during the offseason as well as any camps, skills training, or other programs I can find. I understand that gains during the offseason lead to wins on the field. I strive to be one of the hardest working players on the team.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the field. I am open to all options and want to find the right college at the highest level of competition possible.
