Makhi Byrd -Peters '22 Recruiting Profile

Dear Future Coach,

My Name is Makhi. I have goals of one day being a student-athlete and attend the college that is the best fit for me. Also, I do want to not only compete in sports (football and track) but I also want to obtain my degree as well. If possible obtain my masters degree while playing if possible. Therefore, you will be getting an good student athlete, team player, and accountable kid in your program.  Also, I trust in the path God has in place for me in the future as well. But I want to set myself apart from the rest by being mature enough to obtain good grades, be respectful to my teachers, coaches, and peers.  Also, there isn't anything I would not do to help my team win. If have to help in multiple positions I'm willing to do whatever it takes to win. So hopefully coach you will give me an opportunity to prove my worth and you will not be disappointed in your final decision if feel I'm the player you want on your team. I love the game and the competitiveness it brings out of me. That is why I want to pursue this dream at the next level because I feel I do have something in me that I can bring to the table. I have great support system at home with my parents and especially my father whom also competed at next level in college in football and baseball. Therefore, I understand the importance of GPA, Test Scores, and the other steps in this process.
