My goal is to be a person that inspires others both in sports and life outside of athletics. My dream as a student-athlete is to play football for a D1 school and get a degree in a major that suits my interests. I believe I will be a great teammate and a successful student because I am a hard worker, trustworthy, and respectful. I show up for my friends, teammates and coaches. I always strive to excel and persevere through pressure, obstacles or any challenges that cross my path. What makes me different from others is that I am not afraid to fail. Unfortunately, failure is a part of life, but for me, not an option. It drives and motivates me to better myself whether it be on the field or in a classroom. I'd like to set examples, not only for my friends, teammates and coaches, but also for my younger brothers. Life isn't perfect. You win some and you lose some. Success, through hard work and determination, is the role model I want to be for my younger brothers first and foremost.
Academics are a big part of our family. Grades are important to me because it can open doors to my future career. I understand that life isn't always about sports.
