Thank you for taking the time to read this information. I know your time is a highly valued commodity, so I'll get straight to the point.
I am currently a SENIOR enrolled in Del Rio High School; Texas 5A Football; Class of 2014. I no longer live in Colorado!
My most important accomplishments in Football are:
- Team Captain, Junior and Senior year
- Offensive Lineman of the Year 2013-14
- All District Academic and Character
- All District Team 2 Offensive (This is my FIRST year fully offensive; defensive all other years!)
- First Team, All District (TX, 5A), Tight End 2012-13
- First team, All District (TX 5A), Defensive Tackle 2012-13
- Rams Defensive Lineman of the Year (TX, 5A)
- First Team All State, Sophomore Year;
- All-Conference Honorable Mention.
- Varsity Letterman winner since freshmen year.
What I personally try to bring to the field is heart, and a willingness to do what I can for my team. I try to set an example to my teammates, on and off the field, to follow the rules as well as playing with passion and good sportsmanship, because when you knock someone down with all you have for your team, you should pick them back up. Even though we play for different teams, we're all brothers, in a way. Consequently, I always go out and play with a fiery passion, always play with 200 percent effort, and I NEVER QUIT. It has been my dream since I first stepped on the field to continue on to the next level, so I will be the best I can be to meet that goal. If it were easy, everyone would do it!
I personally, would like to play on the highest level that I can, but I am open to all sizes and types of schools.
When I go to college I would like to major in Criminal Justice. I hope to become a U. S. Federal Marshall or be a Navy SEAL. (My Father was a Naval Aviator and currently trains USAF Pilots; my brother flies F-16's for the USAF; my other brother works for an intelligence agency which should not be named.
Here are some of my goals:
I will always do my best at whatever I do, and that is a promise.
Thank you for your time and consideration; I hope to hear from you soon.
Respectfully,
Benjamin J. Hartman
