My name is Christopher Harris (I prefer Chris) and I am a 6-4 tall, 185 pound 17-year-old entering my senior year of high school. I've been playing football since I was six years old. I play Wide Receiver and Safety.
I'm a "Military Brat" as my mom is in the United States Army. She has been serving our country for 19 years. We have been all over the world from Germany to Korea and back. With her job moving us around so often, I have learned to be resilient, patient, and encouraged throughout changes and tough times. She has deployed to Afghanistan three times and while I missed her, I knew I had to focus on school and sports to make her proud.
I would like to play college football as I pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Health Science and/or Sports Medicine. I would like to be a Social Worker for athletes and assist in their recovery and return to sports. I am open to various locations to attend school as I have been moving around all my life and enjoying experiences different places and cultures. I did consider joining the service but I'd like to do things different from my mom. Make my own mark on the world in my own way.
I look forward to speaking with you.
