I have been playing football for 5 years. I played soccer for 11 years and then decided that I wanted to try football and that's where my love for kicking began. From the start I was certain it was the right position for me and I love playing it. I have always wanted to play football in college and beyond and am excited to be pursuing my dreams. Football has taught me that there are ups and downs in life and you just have to get through them and move on to the next game. Just before this years season started, I was diagnosed with mono and lost 20 pounds and was on bed rest for 2 weeks, unable to practice until the week before the season started. Since then i have fully recovered and have improved very much by practicing every day and was able to start for the first game. Football has taught me that you can improve quickly if you really give it your all and don't hold back. I have learned that this applies to jobs, academics, and anything you do in life. The harder you practice the better you will get. I have been practicing for over 2 years with an ex-NFL kicker Scott Blanton year-round and had the opportunity to kick with some great players. Academically, I intend to pursue a degree in business management. Currently, I am a physical therapist assistant at PT- Concepts and have the opportunity to work with people who are recovering from injuries. I look forward to having the opportunity to meet with you and showcase my talent. I enjoy lifting weights and I go to the gym every day. I also enjoy hunting and fishing.
