I first became interested in football when I was visiting family in Kenya in middle school. One night when talking to my uncle, he mentioned to me that I should consider playing football, not only for fitness but for the opportunity to become a part of a team that would help me push myself both physically and academically. When I returned home, I began working with my coaches at school.
From that point, I got to learn a lot about myself and the game of football and how I can use my size and power on the football field.
But I then learned that I can get a scholarship for playing the game would give me options for college and furthering my education is something that I know I can accomplish.
