Hi, I am Ryan Austin Cassidy, a hard-working Student Athlete, that I believe will be a valuable asset to your football program and your university. Sense an early age I have wanted to play football. I have always put in extra work above and beyond what my coaches have asked, by attending football camps and training extra on my own. I am capable of playing many positions on the OL/DL, in middle school and when on the JV squad I was the team's long snapper and center, I also have good hands for catching the ball. When My coaches moved me up to Varsity my sophomore year, I shifted positions to Left and right tackle. During my high school years my teammates and I have made it to the playoffs each year, winning a state championship in 2019, losing in the state Semifinals game 2020 and losing in the State Championship game last year 2021. The plan for this year (2022) is to win it all once again. My goal is to obtain a Degree in Welding Engineer Technology and/or Fish and Wildlife Management along with studying business of agriculture or just business management. I Enjoy Welding and want to make sure I have several career paths within the field of welding and will be able to move up into a leadership role for whatever company hires me, as quickly as possible. I may not have the best grades as some students you see, but I have to work harder than most as I have ADHD which is something I am not ashamed of. My parents have always told me everyone has some kind of hardship they must overcome, but that I am perfect in Gods eyes. I have always maintained a (B) average each school year, except my sophomore year, Chemistry is hard! My overall average was a 75. I would like to think if the world was not dealing with Covid that year, I took Chemistry, and I was able to get more in person time with my teachers I could have maintained a (B) average that school year. I also represent Gunter high School on the track team (field events) and the Bass fishing team. I enjoy hunting, fishing, hanging out with friends and family and just enjoying life. If you find the time to take a look at me as a potential candidate to join your football team and your University, you will not regret it.
Thank You
Ryan Cassidy aka BUTCH
