I started playing softball when I was 9 years old, and i have been a better person ever since. Playing makes me feel alive and relieves me of any stress i feel throughout the day. Getting to be on a team is just like having a second family where i can have that special bond with my teammates and coaches.Softball has been such a big part of my life and it has made me the person i am today. It taught me to be resilient, accountable and be mentally strong in ways that i could have not learned from anywhere else.
Collegiate softball can make me more of a responsible young adult. Not only would i be able to go to college, i would be furthering my career in softball and play for 4 more years. My goal is to keep playing after High School and to get into a college or University where I know i can grow as a student, athlete, and adult. It is a dream of mine to be the first generation in my family to attend college and play a sport that i love.
I will never let my grades fall below a B, and if it ever does, I will do everything in my control to get that grade up in order to be a tenacious student athlete. My sophomore year was my first year i ever got Academic all-district and i couldn't have been happier because i know all of my hard work in the classroom had payed off.
