Kellyn Husband '27 Recruiting Profile

I am a two-way player playing C/NG (14-6A 2nd Team All District Center- Soph Year) and received the 2024 Big Red Team Leadership MVP. Even though I currently play C and NG, I can/will likely project to Fullback or LB at the next level. I lettered in 3 varsity sports as a freshman while starting 10 games on Varsity and made 2nd Team All-District Guard. I qualified for Regional in 242 lb Division powerlifting. I won the Varsity District Track Meet in shot put and qualified for Area in discus as a Freshman. I am a coach's son and take pride in my work ethic. I play to the whistle on every play offense and defense. I never make a grade below a B and I am never outworked in the weight room or on the field. 

It is my hope to play football and/or throw shot/disc in college which I view solely as a mechanism for achieving an education. I look forward to honoring those who show early interest in me and displaying my appreciation by spending all of my years of eligibility at a single program.
