I started playing football during my 7th grade school year at Albright Middle School. I also played for an outside league. At Albright I played Inside Linebacker for two years (7th and 8th grade). For the Houston Huskies I played Cornerback and Running Back, and out team won the Texas Select Championship League's 2016 7th Iron Bowl Championship.
I started out behind academically as I struggled with most subjects. However, through perseverance and determination I have completely changed my grades over the years, going from barely passing to making all A's and B's. This same determination applies to football. I was not originally a starter for the Huskies because the other players had played together for years and I had to earn my spot on the team. I went to every practice giving everything I had and I earned the starting position after three games.
My aspiration is to become a pro football player. However, I know that this is the same dream all young men who love football have, and that the chances of making it to the NFL are slim. Therefore, I know that I need a good education as well. Other than playing football I would like to be an Engineer. My passions in the engineering field are mechanical, chemical and nuclear. I am passionate about going to college because I know this is what it will take to get my degree so that I can support my family in the future. In case I don't get any athletic scholarships, I will continue working hard to earn academic scholarships to help my parents pay for my education.
