Max Shilstone, IV '21 Recruiting Profile

I am a junior at Lamar High School, Houston, Texas.   I began my passion for football in sixth grade under the inspiring Coach Anthonio Armstrong.   Coach Armstrong encouraged me to pursue my dreams at the collegiate level.  He helped mold me into the person I am today  with his legacy and inspiration.   In middle school, my coaches encouraged me to continue my passion for football at Lamar.   My sophomore year I achieved the rank as Eagle Scout.  At Lamar,  Coach Lindsey and his team of coaches helped me find the most impactful position on the field.  While I played JV, I was fortunate to move to Varsity as an Sophomore and played successfully as a Junior with an All District honorable mention.   At Lamar, I have grown as a person academically and as an athlete.  As pursue my College opportunities, I would like to continue my strengths and leadership in football as well as pursue the highest education academically in College.
