Marcus Bennett '15 Recruiting Profile

I am born and raised in Denmark, Europe. I have been playing football for 7 years.

I'm an exchange student in Jourdanton, Texas. I would like to come here, to see if i was able to compete in America.

Personally, I believe I can only be as good as I put effort to be. I compete with myself daily to outwork everyone on my team, and try to inspire them. I want to be the best athlete and person I can possibly be. My motivation is realize my dream of playing football at the college level.

I am entering this process as humbly as I can and without any huge expectations. I have no desire to rule out any possible school. I am not expecting to play as a freshmen. My goal at any program will be to make the biggest impact I can, both on and off the field. I will come in and work as hard as I can, and at the highest level I can achieve.

My promise to myself, and to you, is to achieve my highest academic and athletic potential. I will represent my college the best way I can.

My dream is to attend a college as a football player. This has been my dream since my dad told me about a Danish NFL Kicker, Morten Andersen's way to the top level. I got so inspired, that I decided I would work as hard as possible to represent my country the same way he did.
