2021 Varsity Dist...Personal Statement
I have been playing tackle football since I was 5 years old and really haven't turned back since. Playing both sides (Defense and Offense) until recently has given me a great perspective during my career in football. I started Long Snapping in April 2020 and I am currently a 5 star ranked Long Snapper with Kohls, ranking #3 in the state of Texas. Additional I am ranked 4.5 starts with Rubio, Kornblue & NKR and Top 40 with HKA for Long Snapping. Coaches have said that I am very coachable and can pick up things quickly. Academics are important to me along with my passion for the game. I'm ready!

- 5 Star Nationally Ranked #21 in CO 2024: Downs was nothing short of impressive throughout the Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp. He finished the charting phase of camp with the 15th-highest score in the 2024 class and an average snap time of .71 seconds. Downs showed all weekend that he can snap at the next level. The ball comes off his hands with tight rotation each time. Brady refined himself and is starting to see the fruits of his labor. I can't wait to see which college program he ends up playing for.

- Brady downs was snapping a very impressive ball at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XLI Event on January 14-15, 2023! Thick, powerful Long Snapper that you will not be moving around on the field. Downs is built like a brick house and snaps one of the cleanest balls in his class. The ball is super easy to catch and basically sticks to the punters hands. Easily one of the most accurate and consistent Long Snappers in his class. His form is absolutely gorgeous as Downs uses every ounce of his body and you can tell he is really focused on his Long Snapping. The more Downs can focus on his overall athleticism, the more he will dominate his class and be a top recruit for his class. Super accurate and consistent Long Snapper that snaps an extremely smooth ball.

- Ranked 4.5 stars and 28th in the US - Downs easily snaps one of the cleanest footballs in the country. He recently competed at the Kohl’s Underclassman Challenge and snapped extremely well. Downs finished the weekend with an average snap time of .7 seconds. He continued his impressive weekend by excelling during the live portion of camp and providing the punters with an easy ball to handle. Downs will continue to see his snapping go to the next level as he continues to develop as an athlete
