I feel that a lot of my personal development can be attributed to my involvement in sports from a young age. My parents have taught me a good way to teach life lessons is play on a team or play sports; from my own experiences I can attest to the truth of this advice with my involvement in mostly football and soccer. I believe these team experiences have given me a focused sense of purpose to my life by teaching me important values. Playing club soccer at a high level and competing nationally with the best football kickers in the nation has taught me self-discipline and the importance of going that extra mile and putting in as much effort as I expect from my team mates. I have applied some of the skills that I have learned through sports to my studies. Growing up in an environment where my family and coaches have high expectations did not intimidate me; it has made me a stronger person. In my spare time l like to read, play video games, hang out with my friends. I also hold training sessions to teach younger kids soccer skills and have a D license and referee youth soccer games on the weekend. I currently take AP classes and have a 3.9/4.0 GPA. I am open to different types of schools at this time. I would like to find an environment in which I could learn from others and make an impact as soon as possible.
