I have played plenty of sports growing up but none of them have stuck the same as swim has. Ever since I started swimming recreationally, I fell in love with the sport. After moving to Texas from California I began swimming in my local club as well as on my school team, so I have not been swimming competitively for very long. Balancing swim and school has been tough but I've managed to pull it off through a strong support structure including my parents and friends and developing strong relationships with my teachers and my coaches. At a collegiate level, I wish to attend college for chemical engineering or chemistry as well as participate on the swim team.
