I've never been the biggest, fastest, strongest or tallest kid on any of my football, baseball or basketball teams, but I've never have let those factors affect the attitude and energy I bring to the playing fields. I've been on winning teams and losing teams. I've thrown interceptions, had home runs hit off my pitches, missed shots, but I keep coming back. I do not let temporary failures affect me. I enjoy promoting my teammates and putting them in positions to succeed just as much as myself.
My parents have taught me to be honest, modest, trustworthy and to never get down on my teammates. I love to compete. I not only play football, baseball, and basketball. I also play golf and compete in the pole vault for my junior high track team. I'm proud to have cleared 7' in the pole vault last year as a 7th grader when I wasn't even 5' tall yet.
I will be attending the Mercedes Early College Academy of the Mercedes Independent School District starting in August of 2018. As as student at MECA, I will be in dual enrollment courses. I will not only be taking my regular high school classes but will also take college courses. When I graduate high school, I will not only receive my high school diploma but I will also receive my associate degree. I hope to receive an academic or athletic scholarship to help my parents put me through school.
