Jerry Sweeting '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jerry Sweeting and I look forward to attending college. I would like to attend college so that I can major in business and pursue a career in Sports Management. From an early age, I have always understood the importance of education and never wanted sports to be my only choice. I have dreams of one day becoming an orthopedic surgeon. I believe that college will support me in learning how to become more independent. I am a good candidate because not only do I have a strong work ethic but I have the ability to juggle many things. I pride myself on maintaining a 3.3 GPA while playing sports and enjoying my teens. I am willing to go the extra mile to ensure that I am performing at my best in everything that I do. For example, I wanted to gain more weight for football so I got up to train 3x a week at 5am despite having to attend school and football practice. When I want something, I am willing to challenge myself rather than making excuses.
