My passion is not only on the golf course, but also in helping others and productive.
I started playing competitive golf when I was in 8th grade. I knew then that I had a passion for being on the golf team and competing. My coaches have helped me to become not only a better golfer, but a better teammate. I have been told repeatedly by my coaches that I am "coachable" and that I am a good mentor to younger players. Not only do I want to get better for myself, i also want to get better to make our team better. I want to take the best of my game and incorporate my teammates greatness. That's how we made it to states in the 2020-2021 year which was my sophomore year.
When not on the golf course, I am studying to maintain my grades. I am a hard working student taking mostly pre-AP classes in my freshman and sophomore classes. When not on the golf course or in the classroom, I keep myself busy. During 2020, I assisted 3 different political campaigns. I walked to people houses and informed them about the Politician, helped mail out letters, and helped them get more and new voters.
During the pandemic of 2020, I spent most of my time on the golf course. I played at least 2 tournaments every week in two different leagues, Beltway Junior Golf Tour and STPGA.
I want to continue my education at a place of higher learning that can prepare me for a future in law. Education is important to me, and I want to couple that with my passion for golf and the camaraderie that comes with golf.
I have a YouTube channel with videos of my swing, the link is- https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3WZtIB9uKm8diJPBLrIchA
