My name is Alex Leslie and I am a 6'5, 215 pound Junior TE. I play for New Braunfels High School in New Braunfels, TX. My junior season I was a unanimous selection 1st team all district TE, (25-5A). I was also just one of two juniors to be selected all Comal County 1st team. I was recently named one of the Top 25 Players of the Southwest by National Underclassmen. It is very natural for me to go up and make the big catch and I love doing it. As natural as it is for me to catch the ball, my primary off season focus has been on fine tuning my blocking technique, increasing strength and gaining weight. I plan to play football in college at a D1 school, preferably in Texas, but I am very open to all possibilities. My goal is to add 5-8 more pounds of muscle by the start of my senior season so that I can maximize my potential and become the most effective TE/slot receiver that I can be. It is my belief that I have just begun to realize and fulfill what my capabilities as an athlete are, and this continues to drive me to be the best football player I can be.
