Being the Quarterback on my team makes me a leader but I am also a leader off of the field. I am an excellent student and put forth 100% effort whether it be academics, athletics or life in general. I was moved from JV to Varsity the 3rd game of my Sophomore year yet wasn't given the opportunity for much play. This changed as I started and played the last 3 games of the season and we "upset" a school we are not picked to beat. This experience of not playing and then playing and winning shaped me for the future and helped me become a more solid dual threat QB.
I was chosen as Varsity Offensive MVP of my team during my Sophomore year, was appointed to the Football Leadership Council for my Junior year and coached the youth flag football league in order to give back and hopefully help train some future football players in my town. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but also the work ethic and leadership skills to be a leader on your team!
