Jaxson Naumann – Bio/Personal Statement
I’m Jaxson Naumann. My dedication and drive to participate in sports and physical activity goes above and beyond most students. From a young age, I have been homeschooled. Coming from a football fan family, I was fortunate to join Pee Wee Football at age 7. Finding Texas Home Educator’s Sports Association (THESA) in my early teens, and joining their football and track programs changed my life!
I live and breathe fitness and health. I spend the majority of my free time, researching and studying how to improve my diet and maximize my health and sports performance.
THESA programs have given me the opportunity to embrace my love for football and my track program participation further supports my goals of becoming the best football player. Running the 100m, 200m, 400m, long jump, 110m hurdles, 300m hurdles, improves my agility and speed contributing to my success as a running back.
My journey developing my skills and success in the sport started with my freshman year which was spent getting to know the game; sophomore year putting the required skills and strategies together, became faster, an excellent season on Junior Varsity; currently in my junior year on Varsity! It's going great!
In addition to my athleticism, I am intelligent with ability to learn quickly (on and off the field). I have a big heart which is apparent to those who know me. I possess the maturity to complete classes at the local junior college.
I also received the THESA Rider Award for possessing and demonstrating character development, values, self-respect and discipline, respect for others, physical conditioning and development of athletic skills.
My vision for the future is for the sport of football to be a large part of my life, pursuing kinesiology education and utilizing both in my future career.
