Personal Statement

I will be a Senior this current fall 2021 semester at Snook ISD in Texas.  For as long as I can remember I have always had the ambition to play football. I started playing flag football in second grade and continued through fifth grade. From there I went on to play on my Junior High football team. I had the privilege to play on the varsity team during my freshman and sophomore (9th and 10th )grades - selected as District Newcomer of the Year. This past year I was the starting quarterback for the varsity team. We made it through the 3rd round of district playoffs going 7-5 overall.  I was named to the All-District QB First Team, Second Team DB, and All State Punter.

I play several sports along with football: 2nd baseman in baseball, powerlifting, and track. Some of my stats include, bench pressing 280, my 40 is 4.57, squatting at 415 and deadlifting  425.   I competed as the regional leader in the 148 weight class for powerlifting at the state competition.

Going into my senior year of high school, I continue to work on maintaining my GPA. I have maintained being on the honor roll my entire Junior High and High School years, along with taking Pre-AP classes. I completed my History classes through UT-Austin (HIST 1301 & HIST1302) this past year and will be taking English with UT-Austin this coming year. I received All-District & All-State Academic this past year. My goal on the field is working with my team to win a district championship. As well as making a long run in the playoffs again and onto state.

I would like to attend an institution where I can find the right balance between the classroom and field. I plan on pursuing a degree in the field of engineering or sports management. Ideally, my athletic environment would be one where I could make an immediate impact on the team. My goal is to attend a Division 1-A or Division 1-AA University but I am open to all playing level.  I want to play football!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
