Since the 5th grade, I have always started as quarterback. My sophomore year, our JV team went 8-1-0 winning district, but the next year, I found myself as back up QB on our varsity team behind a player a year younger than I. I switched to TE a few games toward the end of the season to better help my team. As a senior, I am now the starting TE. 9 catches for 131 yds. averaging 14.6 yds per catch with 4 TD's. Do not underestimate how fast I have learned this position and how much power and ability I have on the line.
I am playing catch up as far as recruitment. I could never have anticipated this position change and the lack of stats and high lights my entire junior year. I may be having to collect highlights late in my high school career, but I am worth a look.
I played three sports up until my sophomore year when I gave up basketball in order to focus more on my preparation for the baseball season. My winning record as a QB I hope shows my ability to understand the game and execute plays: 8th grade: 9-0 District champs, freshman: 8-2 District champs, Sophomore: 9-1 District champs.
I have had success as a pitcher and right fielder for my varsity baseball team. All District Pitcher and All Area Right Fielder. As a leader on the field, I find it my responsibility to be a leader off the field as well. I am involved in all leadership roles within our school and when possible, participate in all events. I am a member of the BSA and have acquired the Eagle Scout merit. I am an AP Scholar Award Winner for 2015. I am interested in pursuing a degree in law or if possible a degree in aviation or aeronautical engineering depending on the University.
