Joshua Cochran '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a student of the game of football and love to learn not just what to do, but why.  I treat football like any other subject in school and study hard for each Friday night test throughout the season. As a result, I was selected to the All-District Team for the 2021 Season.

I am a leader on and off the field and demonstrate this by continuously helping my teammates become better football players, helping them in school and in making the right choices in life.  I believe my commitment to making my team better and helping my teammates led to my being selected by them as the 2021 Most Outstanding Lineman. 

I am blessed to have had the opportunity to be accepted into the Collegiate Academy in my school district. Through this program, I attend a local junior college and will have my Associates Degree before I graduate from High School. Because of my hard academic work, I earned enough High School credits to be classified as a Senior during my Junior year, and made the 2021 Academic All-State Team.

I have been able to travel often because of my dad’s job.  I have been to all 50 States and have visited many countries around the world. One thing we always do when we visit a place is take time to learn local customs, heritage, and values of the people there. It has made the individual States and Countries I have visited more unique to me. It has taught me to appreciate all of the opportunities we have in the United States and not take them for granted.
