I believe winning freshmen defensive MVP was a good start to my high school football career. Through getting that award I learned a lot about myself. I'm very passionate when I play. I always try to play to the best of my ability. I also learned I can overcome a lot, since in the beginning of the season I wasn't a starter. I was playing linebacker and tight end but wasn't really having much success. I eventually moved to defensive tackle and started my first game of the season a few games later.
I've been interested in the game from a young age since about elementary. school Back then, football was new to me. It was introduced to me at recess and through the Madden video games. Since then, I've fallen in love with the game. I'm a multi-sport athlete. I also played on the freshman basketball team this season. My academic goal for high school is to obtain at least a 3.5 gpa. Playing on the college level is my dream goal and I'm willing to put in the work and do whatever it takes to achieve it.
