Hello. My name is Tucker Booth. I am from Colonial Heights, Virginia. I play middle linebacker and fullback. I am in honors/AP classes and I get all A's and B's. I want to play college football at a small D-III school close to me because I want to further my education and continue playing football. I'm thinking that I want to get an engineering degree because I excel in Math. I got a 590 on my Geometry SOL 3 years ago and got a 1200 on my SAT this year. I also want to improve on my football skills and knowledge. I am very coachable and I can catch onto things very quickly. I can also make all of the calls for the defense on the field like I've done the past 4 years. I watch film all the time studying the other team and finding out what I need to improve on. I was the only freshman starter on defense for my whole freshmen year. I received the coaches award for the team freshmen year for stepping up to the plate for being a freshman starter and for my hard work and dedication ever since I started working out with the football team in the spring of 7th grade. I played my sophomore season 3 years ago. I got voted to be one of the four team captains that year for the team and got the team leadership award at the end of the season. I was one of the more influential players on our team that year on the field and off the field. Last season, I was once again a team captain and improved my skills and ability through the short Covid season. I was awarded Defensive MVP for last season. My senior year has been pretty successful for me so far. I am currently leading the team in tackles and forced fumbles. My goal is to have our team go to the playoffs for the 1st time since I've been there. I also used to wrestle for 10 years. I was a 2-time state placer, once in 2017 and again in 2018. I am a Boy Scout who is an Eagle Scout, the highest rank. I have been active in scouting since I was in 1st grade doing lots of volunteer work and going camping once a month. For my Eagle Project I repaired the picnic benches at my mom's school and put in a trash can holder for her students. I feel like I'm different from most other recruits because I am very coachable and willing to learn, I am smarter than most recruits out there, and I'm willing to do any difficult tasks that I have to in order to be successful at what I do on the field and off the field.
