Jeremy Sampson '17 Recruiting Profile

I started playing youth football at the age of ten and during this time I was on a team that won a championship and on a team that lost all of its games. In high school I have played on the Freshman, JV, and Varsity teams with all winning records. All these experiences, winning and losing, have helped me grow as a person and athlete, preparing me for playing at the college level.

I feel that I am part of an amazing high school football program led by the 2015 NFL Don Shula High School Coach of the year, winning 14 games in a row and playing in the Virginia State Championship, a great experience, and winning 13 games in a row the next year. I learned the value of individual hard work, teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership. I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically and that will provide help adjusting to college life both on and off the field.  I know that I have the talent to compete for a college team and with my work-ethic, determination, and willingness to apply what I have learned, I believe I will make an immediate impact on your program!
