I am a two-sport athlete, playing both football and soccer. I started my freshman soccer season as a Varsity player. I began playing football my junior year. Although my time in football has been short, my background in soccer has prepared me well for the demands of a football program. I would like to continue playing during college. I view my college experience as a way to focus on a new chapter in my life. I am looking for a college where I can challenge myself both on and off the field. I have not decided on a program of study in college but have a possible interest in sports management, engineering or criminal justice. My grades are important to me and I’ve worked hard to keep a high GPA.
I am a leader both in the classroom and on the field. I am able to handle situations under pressure and encourage my teammates to do the same. I am a very coachable athlete. I view feedback as an opportunity to get better and I use the feedback I am given to increase my knowledge and skills. I am hardworking and am a team player. I believe that a team’s environment and attitude is as important as their technical skills. I am the teammate who will cheer my teammates on each day, as each day is a new opportunity.
