Personal Statement

Dear Coach,

I am very excited about the opportunity to play college football. It is something I have dreamed about and am working hard to reach that goal. I have been around the game of football forever. My father played college football and is a high school coach, my sister and I were the ball boys for our high school team since I was five, my uncle is an NFL football official and my cousin officiates at the D1AA level. My grandfather was a football player, coach and official. Football is family. From an early age, playing football at the highest level while getting a college education has been my goal. I value hard work and being a team player. I love working out in the weight room and understand that games are won and lost in the weight room and the importance to lifting together as a team. I love to compete and playing any am willing to play any position to make the team better. I am a student of the game and enjoy watching game film in order to improve as a student athlete. My coaches would say that I am coachable, listen, do what I am told, am willing to get better and lead by example and am a hard worker in and out of the classroom.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
