Hi,
I believe that I need to be continually working on my skills and strengthening my body so that I am in the best condition to play football competitively. I really enjoy weight lifting and working in the weight room, because this prepares me physically. Over my football career, I have held multiple different positions, this demonstrates that I am flexible, ready to learn, and remain coachable at all times. I believe that each player has a unique role on the team and sometimes that means stepping outside our comfort zone. I look forward to continuing my football career in college and continuing to grow.
Working as a team in football has driven me to seek a career that will allow me to utilize this skill set. Additionally, through working on my Eagle Scout project I learned how to lead different groups of people, how to communicate more effectively, and to overcome adversity. I aspire to fulfill my dreams and aspirations by graduating from college and being an Imagineer or engineer because creating new things and working as a team excites me.
Over the summer I gathered the team together and developed a conditioning plan along with playing 7 on 7 scrimmages. I am excited to see where this will take us this season! I have been nominated for the Beck's Player with Heart and have been selected to receive this award! Demonstrating Commitment and Passion on the Field and Beyond! This is a huge honor and I am excited to be recognized for my dedication to football, the team, and our community!
My Senior year was an exciting year! I took on a leadership role and was dedicated to making our team a Winning Team, I was the team Captian and Motivator. I Continued to play Left Gaurd along with Defensive End and Defensive Tackle. Our team did go on to have a winning season and make the playoffs Thus proving that hard work and dedication can make a difference.
Spring football Junior, They continue to use me as a utility player thus playing many positions when needed during a game and throughout the season. My main role was as Left Gaurd, Defensive End, and Defensive Tackle. I enjoyed being able to help out some of our new players.
As a Junior, COVID has postponed our season. We are playing football in Spring. I have taken this time to focus on working out in the weight room and my agility. I have also enjoyed attending skills camps.
As a Sophomore, I was used as a utility player and played many different positions such as defensive end on both sides, Left guard, Defensive tackle. I love the feeling of being double-teamed and pushing both players back.
As a Freshman, I played Center and really enjoyed being able to use my leadership skills while working with the line.
