I am a two sport athlete at Rice Lake High School holding a 3.9 GPA. My team and I compete in the Big Rivers Conference, a prestigious conference located in Northwestern Wisconsin. Rice Lake High School is the smallest school in the conference (684 enrollment), that competes against mostly Division 1 and 2 schools (up to 1840 enrollment). Despite this, Rice Lake Football finished 2nd in the conference and made it to the state semi-finals. Last year Rice Lake was the conference champ and were 2014 state runner-ups. On a personal level, I love aggressive play styles. I was voted 1st team All-Conference for Offensive Line and received 1st team All-Northwest honors. Before moving to Rice Lake, I played football and wrestled at Port Washington High School. There, I played next to the prominent Wisconsin OL recruit, Tyler Beach. Beach gave me lots of insight regarding the skills and commitment required to become a college football player. It was a great experience to have Beach as a mentor and friend. Regarding wrestling, I received BRC All-Conference honors and was a regional champion at the 285 pound weight class. Despite being undersized in every match, I was able to compete through conditioning, body awareness, and aggressive attacks.
