My sophmore year did not go as I planned. in August I beat out multiple guys to be the starter both ways. Starting fullback and linebacker. In our first game on the first drive I ended up injuring my knee and I would not return until 1/2 through the year. I did not have the ability to do a full sprint but I played anyways. I was not fast enough to play linebacker because of my condition so I moved to d-line and started 8 games. I also played a small amount of fullback as well. At the start of the year my doc said he doubted I would be able to play but told me if I did I couldn’t hurt it any worse. This demonstrates my grit, toughness and determination. I had goals before the season. Start varsity and I achieved those goals through any means possiable. Im looking forward to next year when I am healthy.
