I would be an asset to a program who is looking to add a hardworking, smart, athletic leader who will quickly learn the playbook and become someone who teammates look up to. If the right program determines I need to wait my turn to play, I am receptive to that. I take extraordinary pride in the responsibility that comes with being a student athlete. I’ve been able to maintain a 3.8 GPA, participate in three sports and two service clubs, while having taken many honors classes. I understand that it is a privilege to participate in extracurricular activities and the demanding work it takes to succeed in the classroom and on the field. While I enjoy the challenges in the classroom, I really enjoy the challenge of studying the playbook, and film, to help me get better and get an idea of where my team can excel against a particular opponent. I am a leader amongst my teammates and classmates. I can think in the moment and make quick decisions. One of my greatest accomplishments was being part of a conference championship, something my high school has not done in 32 years, and nearly qualifying for the state championship game, though falling just short against the defending state champion. In my three high school seasons I have started twenty-four games, been all conference honorable mention quarterback, first team all-conference quarterback, conference offensive player of the year, and honorable mention all-state quarterback. I would like to go to a college or university where I can achieve high honors while playing football. I am open to all schools that will give me an opportunity to play.
