Ever since I first saw the game of football I've had a love for the sport. The aggression, determination and the blood, sweat, and tears that are poured out on that field has always intrigued me since childhood. It’s something that I love doing and have so much passion for. I’ve seen these massive college stadiums filled with people chanting, screaming, and roaring out their school song. Being raised in a small town and attending a school of less than 400 people has created a fire and a drive to take the next step to achieve the dream of having an entire college campus behind me on that field. A little more about me; I am a 6’0, 195 pound linebacker and fullback. I attend Valders high school where I am a four-sport athlete. I compete in baseball, wrestling, trap shooting, and football of course. I also am the Senior Patrol Leader for the local scout troop. I am currently working on my eagle, the highest rank in Boy Scouts. This has given me lots of leadership experience as I must keep over 20 kids under control. I also have leadership experience from being the wrestling team captain and I am looking forward to being a team captain for my high school football team next year. When it comes to some of my qualities I am determined, dedicated, as well as motivated. One of my favorite quotes is stated by former De La Salle High School football coach, Bob Ladouceur. “Nobody expects you to play perfect. That's impossible. But what we expect and what you should expect of each other is a perfect effort.” I always strive for excellence and reach to be the best I can be at anything I do. Even if I am knocked down, I will always get back up, even if I need to ask for help. All of these qualities don’t just go toward athletics. I also push myself in my school work as well as my construction youth apprenticeship. This is shown by my honor roll here at Valders. I have achieved high honors two semesters out of four as well as honors for an additional semester. I am so excited and looking forward to playing the sport that I love so much at the next level.
