Ian Dretzka '15 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I was 5 and playing flag football I was always the biggest kid.   For this reason, I was never allowed to touch the ball.  When tackle football began in the 5th grade I thought the situation would change.  It did not.  Entering high school football as a 13 year old, and making the Junior Varsity as the starting left tackle I learned that my size and strength were an asset and not something to hold me back.  Having spent the last several years trying to improve upon the gifts God has given me, I believe that the dream of playing college football is very real and very possible.  I now take advantage of every day possible to get even bigger, faster and stronger.   My ultimate goal is to continue to build on what I have been given and to play for a quality college football program.
